The Real You (inner man)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

We became new man after born-again experience in our lives. Our spirits were regenerated by the Holy Spirit and He Himself dwells in our spirit or the inner man, or the other meaning : we were sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), thus we became the Living Temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16). The Bible speaks about God in Three Persons, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit (2 Cor 13:13), man also is composed of three different bodies or nature spirit, soul and body (1 Thess 5:23) not to be confused with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. (here i am trying to bring the resemblance).

The Question here comes, Who is the Real you ? It is your body? your soul ? or your spirit ? Answering to this questions: the Real you is your inner man or your spirit. Here is the answer form the Bible Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7 the spirit will return to God, not body or soul, then that is clear the spirit is the Real you.

Are we nurturing just our body and soul ? and forget about our Real Personality the inner man or spirit ? How do we nurturing our body, everyone knows that we need to eat to nurture our body.Then how do we nurture our soul by reading or educating ourselves. But how do we nurture our spirit ? most of the people in the World does not know this fact, but we knew it and the Word of God taught us that by Only God's Word we can be fed, Jesus said " It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." Luke 4:4. That's how we feed or nurture our inner man (spirit). And by the leading of the Spirit of God we can be able to nurture our spirit man, But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10.

The people around you (unbelievers) doesn't care and know about this "real you" because their spirit is dead and not made alive by the Spirit of God, the Bible said we were quicken (made alive) by the Spirit of God But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11. So you and I should not serve the desire of the Flesh but serve God by the Inner man (the real you) because we are different and we have the Spirit of God Dwelling in us (1 Cor 3:16)... !

In the conversation with Samaritan woman Jesus told her that "God is a Spirit" (John 4:24) if God is a Spirit that's so sure that only spirit being can touch with Him. In the same verse written "and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth" your real personality can be in touch with God that's the real you (spirit). Why Jesus said so because God Created man in His own image and in His likeness "in our image, after our likeness" Genesis 1:26. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7. If God doesn't breathed His breath of life in man, man might not became a living soul or living being, God's Life is in man, every man owed God for that life.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 . Now we live, because Christ Lives in us we are new man in Christ Jesus, we owed Jesus this new life, so must we live in newness of life by the real you(inner man) and not going after the Flesh. The Bible says But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Romans 8:9. We have the indwelling Spirit of God so we are not allowed to walk in the Flesh any more at all.

So dear brother and sisters in Christ, are we born-again ? yes we are. Do we have the Spirit of God in us ? yes we have because the Bible says we have. Are we new in Christ ? yes we are Living with New Life ... If we are in Christ and the Spirit of God dwells in us in our real inner man we are to walk after the Spirit and Not after the Flesh... May God Richly Grant you His Holy Spirit ... !

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverb 1:7

The Fear of the Lord simply means Obeying the Word of the Lord in what ever circumstances come, or being royal to God. The Bible speaks about the Fear of the Lord many times in Old Testament as well as in New Testament. Especially the Word of God says like this in Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." If we fear God we are Truly Wise According to the Scriptures ! but if we reject God we are foolish according to the Scriptures !
We see what is the result of those who rejects God in Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." what is the lack of Knowledge the Bible speaks in here ? it is "the Fear of the Lord" in Proverbs 1:7. The Children of Israel Lacked Knowledge because they do not Fear the Lord ! and were "destroyed" as the Word of God said in Hosea 4:6. If we do not have the Fear of the Lord (Prov 1:7) we would become foolish because we Lack in the Knowledge of the Truth (I Timothy 2:4), later we would be Destroyed (Hosea 4:6) or Perish.

Two Prominent Persons form the Bible Who Lived in the Fear of the Lord and Blessed by God.

1. Joseph (Genesis 37-50)

He was the Favorite son of His father Israel (Jacob) (Gen 37:3)
He was rejected and sold as slaves by his brethren (Gen 37:28)
The Lord was with him and prospered him (Gen 39:2)
He was Tested but he overcame by the Fear of the Lord (Gen 39:9)
Interpret Dreams by the Knowledge and Wisdom of God (Gen 40:8; 41:25)
People notice that he is Filled with the Holy Spirit (Gen 41:38)
Became Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Egypt (Gen 41:38-45)

2. Daniel ( Daniel 1-12 )

He was form the Royal Family of the Children of Israel (Dan 1:3)
Carried as a Captive to Babylon (Dan 1:1)
Tested by Food offered to idols (Dan 1:5)
Overcame by the Fear of the Lord (Dan 1:8)
Interpret Dreams of the King by the Knowledge and Wisdom of God (Dan 2:28)
Daniel Glorified God (Dan 2:47)
Became the Highest Officer in Babylonian Empire (Dan 2:48)

If we carefully observed these Two Great men from the Bible "Joseph and Daniel", we find out that they shared a lots of Resemblances in their Lives, that the Main Important thing we found in both of them was the Fear of the Lord in their Lives or Being Faithful to the Lord in spite of their situation ... so did the Lord Prospered them ... and lifted them up Above the People of Their Time ... !
We have heard and we have seen the Fear of the Lord being Preached or Told from the Bible and also from the Servants of God. So we must see the Fear of the Lord in our lives to proved that we Love God ! If we do not Have the Fear of the Lord and yet tellin' ourselves that we Belong to "Jesus" we are lying ourselves and to the World ...!

Conclusion: Dear Family of God in Jesus Christ ... let us bring ourselves to question right now, do we have Fear of the Lord ? we might if we really belong to Jesus by accepting Him as our Lord and Savior ... but as we live in the imperfect and fallen world we might also have entangled to the Lust of the flesh ... in spite of our weaknesses we will have the Fear of the Lord if we come back to Him today and Read His Word daily and Pray always to do His will ... and the Holy Spirit will guide us into the Father's Will, so we will Live in the Fear of the Lord as Long as we live and Do His Will ... the Lord bless you ... !

I Will Praise the Lord ... !!!

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments. Habakkuk 3:17-19.

When Paul and Silas was arrested in the City of Thyatira because Paul cast out the demons from a fortunetelling girl, they were beaten and cast in to the inner Prison. Yet," And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them." Acts 16:25, in spite of their circumstances they Sang and Praised God. What was the result ... ? God came down from Heaven where Praise is Made "And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." Acts 16:26, "there was a great Earthquake" actually it wasn't a real earthquake but the Presence of God ( See : Resurrection of Jesus Christ, Matthew 28:2 ) if it were a real earthquake the whole Prison would collapsed and they might have injured or died. In the whole Bible we saw Whenever the Presence of God was there there is shaking of the Earth ( Creation of God did obeisance to Creator, eg. Mount Sinai Exodus 19:18 ). "After that All the doors were opened, and everyone's bands were loosed." Acts 16:26, By the Praise of Paul and Silas God not only loose them but also all the prisoners in that Prison. There is still more blessings by praising God, the jailer and his House whole were saved, Acts 16:30-33.
There is a saying goes like this " When Praise goes up Blessings comes down" actually God comes down not just Blessings... Praise the Lord !

Though not easy to Praise God in Trials, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord !

It is not really an easy thing to Praise God in the time of trials and temptations, but we are not left alone, our Heavenly Father gave us the Comforter Holy Spirit, "which proceedeth from the Father" John 15:26. God some time set us in a Strait to test us. But the Bible is clear talking to us, that we still need to praise God though all things are gone or fail from us (Habakkuk 3:17-19) Because God is our Salvation, Strength, and Promoter. In Habakkuk 3:17-19 we see varied failures in the corps and the flocks, and also encouraging words of Praising God though everything failed to produce, and assurance of Deliverance. These Passages in Habakkuk 3:17-19 had been the encourager of the Believers in the time of difficulties throughout the Centuries because it is the Word of God.

What is our judgment to day if God set us in a Strait, failing everything in our lives ? here is the encouragement from the Word of God, There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13. It says God will not give us more than we can bare because He knows our Limitation and Strength, but will you and i still Praise God in the midst of Trials like Paul and Habakkuk ? Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:18.

Conculsion : I remember a song we sang every time "When I fall down, You pick me, when I am dry You fill my cup, You are my all in all" ... Jesus Christ is there to Save us when we fall, and fill us With His Holy Spirit when we are dry ... so why don't you and i Praise Him ? Praise the Lord ... ! finally ... Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. !!! Psalms 150:6.

Atheist says No God ... but they already Use the Word "God" Thus they themselves Proved that there is God ...

Atheism is very popular in Western but Idolism is famous in Eastern, people are given in Idolism and Atheism ... so Satan Tricks people in two ways...

1. There is No God.

2. Idols are gods...

Easter Special : Jesus is Alive ... !!!

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

No one in History has ever proclaimed or said to be Rose again from the Death Except "Jesus Christ" of Nazareth. In the Bible and in the Pages of the History agreed together to proved that "Jesus is Alive Today". Tough most of the people did not believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, most of the People on Earth Today Knew that Jesus is the Only Savior and Rose from the Death. Though the whole World deny Him we will not deny Him and His Ministry and Sacrificial Death, His Burial, and His Resurrection this is our main Christian Doctrine. Because the Bible is not Fake nor Made believe Myth, but the Bible is the Word of God and Is Living ( Hebrews 4:12 ).
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8.

Strong Delusion

Though everyone of us knew and Believe that Jesus is Alive !, the Scheme of Satan to prevent the Truth of God doesn't Ceased and trying to bring some sort of false accusation against the Authenticity of the Scripture by showing forth a mere archaeological finding called "The Tomb of Jesus" which came out as a Movie couple of years ago. There they claim that the Tomb of Jesus had been found and trying to shock the whole world. There is a stone hewn Coffin about the size of 2' 3' foot said to contain bones and remains and upon that Stone Coffin engraved a name "Jesus".

When i watch that Movie i remembered the Word God in Matthew 28:11-15 11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. 12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, 13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. 15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

It was such a scheme that Satan brought to overthrow the Faith of Some Believers and the People of the World not to Believe in Christ Jesus Who is A Live Forever more... ! But it is Hilarious and Funny things for us, who believe the Truth of the Gospel and of the Word of God, and witnessed by the Spirit of the Lord daily in our spirit that Jesus is Alive ! hallelujah ... !!! this Fake Tomb of Jesus Might have been done at that time by the Counsel of High Priest and companions at Jerusalem after the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, or that might be another name resemblance to Jesus originally Yeshua or Joshua. (see Acts 13:6).

Biblical Prove of Resurrection

Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
Luke 24:6:7 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
John 20:8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

In These Four Gospels we see that Jesus was Risen form the Death, and it is our Faith, Because Jesus is Alive, Our Faith is meaningful as Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. and if we see in Verse 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. This verses do not need more explanation because the Word of God is made known to us by Holy Spirit and it is simple to understand, easy to read.

Conclusion : Our Faith is not in Vain because Jesus Christ Rose from the Death and Conquered the Grave ... !!! And He said I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8. This Might be like saying an Old Story but we should not think that way, if Jesus doesn't come to the Earth we are Doomed Eternally and Finally going into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels Matthew 25:41. We should be thankful always for what the Lord has done for us that He should died on the Cross for our sins, and Buried and Rose again form the Death according to the Scripture ... thank You Jesus... !!!

Revealing Spirit of God ... !!!

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10

The Spirit of God revealed things pertained to God. Spirit of God Comforts and sometime Admonished us for our spiritual betterment and to continue in the Faith which we were called in Christ Jesus ... !!!

Before we go further about the Revealing Spirit of God I would like to share my own experience about the Admonishing from the Spirit of the Lord. Once I was so depressed in the spirit and it even caused me to give up my Ministry and Faith in Christ Jesus, because of the situation I faced with many problems, trials, temptations and difficulties in my life. I cried and prayed to the Lord to deliver me from all this "otherwise I would give up" I challenged the Lord ... ! what did He said to me ? what do you guess His answer was ? The Spirit of the Lord which is in me, simply said "the just shall live by his faith" Habakkuk 2:4. Then I knew my faults and I burst out with tears of repentance, I speak to the Holy Spirit "Lord I will live by faith". This incident changed my life ... Hallelujah ...for the Lord is good ... !!!

Revealing Spirit

Holy Spirit is called Revealing Spirit or Spirit of Revelation in the Bible (Eph3:5). Revealing the truth of God's Word is one of the Nature of the Holy Spirit because He is the Spirit God and He is God and also He is the Author of the Word of God (2 Tim 3:16) so He must reveal otherwise no one could understand though they read (Mark 4:12). Above verse we see God revealed them by His Spirit (1 Cor 2:10) what things Spirit of revealed to us ? it says Spirit of God searches the Deep things of God that means Holy Spirit revealed the Deep things of God to us because we belongs to Him and we are His (Acts 20:28).
Did God ever revealed to you and I by His Spirit ? Yes He does, without the work of the Spirit of the Lord no one is able to come to the Knowledge of the Truth (2 Timothy 2:25) simply means being saved. If we are saved people there is no way to say that, God did not reveal to us anything yet. In my childhood I wanted to know the background of the Bible so much, it was fulfilled when i went to Bible College i knew Bible background and i thanked God for that.
More than that the Spirit of the Lord revealed to me deep things of God which i never thought to know myself. Once when i was upon my bed, the Spirit of the Lord revealed to me one thing that is "why God said human knowledge foolishness to God and God's Word foolishness to men (the unsaved) (1 Corinthians 1:17-31)" the explanation form the Spirit of God is simple ... it is because Adam and Eve did not have the Wisdom of God ... but they got the knowledge from the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, they did eat the fruit which God said thou shalt not eat of it (Genesis 2:17) simply means Human knowledge wasn't from God so it is contradicting from God's Wisdom. Holy Spirit did reveal to me many things from the Word of God though i did not write it down here. What i am trying to say here is, the Revelation of the Spirit of God to individual believers today.

Conclusion: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24. Dear brothers and sisters in Christ today you heard the message about Revealing Spirit of God. Every Believers is indwell by the Holy Spirit as the Bible said Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16. So don't feel wired when Holy Spirit reveal to you anything concerning God's Word received it with gladness, and don't be confounded when He Admonish you by God's Word, then change your life and come to God again, as i mention above in my experiences. May the Lord reveal us by His Spirit daily to walk the way we as should till we reach Heaven to meet Jesus our Lord.

The Unchanging God ... Jesus Christ ... !!!

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8

Jesus Christ spoke to John in the Isle of Patmos to record His Words. And it became the Book of Revelation later in our Bible. There in the prologue of the book we see the Risen and Glorified Christ Jesus gave commandment to John the apostle. And Jesus said to John saying "Fear not; I am the first and the last:" Revelation 1:17, it is a comforting Words from the Lord to John that He should not be afraid of anything because He is the First and the Last or the God all Creation, the Everlasting God.

Jesus Christ the Almighty

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever". Hebrews 13:8. The Bible speaks about the Unchanging God ... though our world and it's system are Changing everyday. Because the God of the Bible is the God of all Creation ... and He is Jesus Christ "which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty". Revelation 1:8. When God encouraged the Children of Israel and when He rebuked them the Lord said "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God". Isaiah 44:6. Proving that there is no God besides Him because of their Idolatry and Disobedience to His Words.

People are confused today about Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit ... the Bible talk about God and His Trinity Union. And for Jesus Christ we see the Bible talks like this "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" Colossians 1:16. All things are Created by Him and for Him ... for Whom ? for Jesus Christ and By Jesus Christ ... Because He is the Almighty God... the Unchanging God ... Hallelujah !!!

Conclusion : We know and we are sure of this, that Jesus Christ to Whom we Worship and Believe is the Only God and the Unchanging God. Because the Spirit of God is witnessing in us as we read His Words, and the Spirit of God is revealing to us that we are His (1Cor 2:10), I mean we belongs to Jesus Christ ... what a privilege we have that we should be called the sons of God (John 1:12). May the Lord bless us and guide us with His Wisdom as we live in the brink of His Coming ... !!!

The War Between Two Natures ( Spiritual Vs Carnal )

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Romans 7:22,23 (KJV)

Apostle Paul described the Two Natures in the Book of Romans expressively. In the above Scripture we are seeing the two laws, Natural or Carnal and another Spiritual, which are combating or fighting daily in One's life who has come to Faith in Christ. (But to those who are not in Christ have no two laws but only conscience).

It is not appropriate to say as a believer to lost to the Carnal law daily, there must be a fight and Victory though we failed sometimes because of our lust and own will. Romans 7:19 says For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. This the most fitting verse for us, as to show the Law of Carnal in our Lives. But another one shows our Spiritual Law or Spiritual Nature in Romans 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: here the inward man is reffering to the Spirit man, Ephesians 3:16.

Daily Straggle

We find it both Nature daily in our lives, frankly speaking. The Questions arises How will we Overcome the Old man or Old nature ? The Bible doesn't leave us with just Commandments but gave us ways and also the Spirit of God is helping us in our infirmities, Romans 8:26. As we straggle daily we are growing in the Lord if we strive lawfully. Straggling is worthwhile in our life time because our Lord Jesus Himself does straggled with Temptations as we are yet without sin, Hebrew 4:15. If we follow Christ we will Overcome and Defeat the Old Nature Daily in our lives. The Straggle will take long even till we reached to Heaven, but Jesus said In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33. And also in Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Jesus has done His part we must do our part.

Conclusion : This is an encouragement for all of us who are straggling with the Two Natures daily in our lives. Even for myself because i am not perfect yet as we all does, though i wrote it by the Urging of the Spirit of God. Hoping it is relevant in your lives today i mean in this last days, the Word of God is Truth 1 Thessalonians 2:13 and is Powerful Hebrews 4:12. As the Coming of the Lord draws near let us take Heed to the Word of God ... for the Lord is good ... !!!

I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5 ( KJV )

There in the Words of Jesus we see "abide in me" that is simple to understand yet difficult to act or follow sometimes because of our weaknesses as a human being. But Jesus confirm His Word again later "without me ye can do nothing" what He said He saith it in Truth, and it cannot be alter by our human judgments by saying that there is another way of blessings or bearing fruits without Abiding in Christ Jesus... absolutely not !

And Jesus put forth an example of Himself as a Vine which is the the Trunk of the Grape plan or the Source of everything from which the branches absorb minerals to bear fruit, and we as branches which needs the sources from the Vine to bear Fruits. If we are abiding in Jesus we will bear fruits of the Spirit which is mentioned in Galatians 5:22,23.

Bearing Fruits

We know the Fruits which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control these are the Fruits of the Spirit and the Bible also said that against such there is no law, means if we are Abiding in Christ and bear the Fruits of the Spirit no law can condemn us and against us. Spiritual benefits and Physical benefits by Abiding in Christ. So blessed are we that Christ is in us !

What is Abiding in Christ

That will require you to give time for Christ if you want to Abide in Him and Bear Fruits which will benefit your Spiritual and Physical life. Abide simply means 'to take hold permanently' that is called Abide. It is not easy to Abide in Christ and bear Fruits if we are not Obeying Him at His Word ! I am not judging anyone here but wanting to encourage everyone who has put his Faith in Christ to Abide in Him... !
The True Christian Faith doesn't start with Religious Orders but with Faith in Christ by Grace. So if we have started our Faith with Christ why not we Abide in Him as long as we live !
The Bible said in the Hebrews 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith;" if we want to Abide in Him we must look to Him continually.


Conclusion : Dear Believers in Christ Abiding means continual fellowship with Christ Jesus Our Lord. I Believe this message would encouraged you to grow in Jesus and Abide in Him ... the Lord bless you ... for the Lord is good ... !!!

The Two Symbolical Lion from the Bible

The Bible portrayed Lion as a Symbol of Strength, Royalty, and Courage. Even in the mid-east ancient world excavations we see many engraving of lions in the Archaeological findings (esp: Babylonian). Some time people called Lion as the "King of the Forest", thus they gained fame throughout the World History, and even in the Bible ( for God made them ).

We are going to see who are those prominent Persons in the Bible described as the Lion. There are probably Two prominent Figures in the Bible so named as the Lion, the First One is Jesus Christ our Lord who is called " the Lion of the Tribe of Judah" Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. the second one is Satan called "as roaring lion" 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

"The Lion of the Tribe of Judah" (Revelation 5:5)

This is the Title of Our Lord when He is to Open the Seven Seals in Heaven Before the Throne of God, the Four Living Beast, the Four and Twenty Elders, and before all the Heavenly hosts, He alone is found Worthy in Heaven, and on Earth, and Under the Earth to unseal the Scroll of the seven Seals. The Kingship of Jesus is also written in Matthew 2:6 And thou Bethlehem, [in] the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. (Compare: Micah 5:2). Jesus Christ is the Ruler and King not only for the People of Israel but also for all Nations and Tribes and Tongues. We known this as a believer as we read the Word of God. How the Lord gained the title "the Lion of the Tribe of Judah"?, before He gained this title He was the Lamb of God, which shows a form of a Servant, Humbled, Despised, Spitted, Scourged, Even Crucified on the Cross !

He is the Lamb of God as well as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah ! Even the Lord took the form of a Servant (as the Lamb of God) and suffered Death, And Overcame and Exalted Above every name ... and Found Worthy Alone in Heaven, on Earth, in under the Earth (Hell) and gained the Honor, Glory and Praise, Wisdom, Riches ... and Kingly title "Lion of the Tribe of Judah". When we say the Lion of the Tribe of Judah we are not saying the Lord is Lion but it is Symbolical term to Express His Majesty and Strength, because the Bible is full of Symbols. In the book of Revelation 4:7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. we see the Creatures before the throne of God, this shows that Almighty God respects His Creation. So it is not a wired thing for us to see our Lord Jesus Christ named or title as "the Lion of the Tribe of Judah".

(the title of Satan the Deceiver, Accuser)

The Bible also mentioned another lesser and infidel lion as "the roaring lion" which seek it's prey to devour, that lion is Satan the arch-enemy of God. Satan always find faults with the Believers so in the Bible we see his another name "the accuser of our brethren" Revelation 12:10. The term 'roaring lion' might refer to the Hunger stricken angry lion, so Satan seeks to Destroy, Devour, Accuse, and Abuse John 10:10. Everything in up side down with "Jesus Christ" "the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

Conclusion: If we have "The Lion of the Tribe of Judah" we need not afraid of 'the roaring lion' because the Bible said When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19b. We are sure nothing can touch us except the Lord permits. So if we are in Christ and Christ in us Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Jesus Or Denomination ... !!!

When the Church was Born in Jerusalem in the First Century AD, there were no Divisions in the Church, because there was Only One Church in Jerusalem even in the Entire World. In Acts 2 we see the Coming of the Holy Spirit soon after the Ascension of Jesus Christ Our Lord. While the Disciples waited the "Promised of the Father" (Luke 24:29) in the Upper Room even in Jerusalem.

When the Persecution came to the Church by Saul (Paul) in Jerusalem the Disciples fled or Spread out from Jerusalem and went even to Judea and Samaria (Acts 8), this might be the first step of the Church Growth in the Early First Century itself. Believers were named "Christianos" (Christian) meaning the "Followers of Christ" in the City called Antioch of Syria. So they were called "Christians" no other names beside...

In 1 Corinthians 1:12,13 we see Apostle Paul admonishing the believers in Corinth because there were divisions, " I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ " 1 Cor 1:12. This might be the First Denominational divisions in the Church of Early Believers.

Then Paul explained them in 1 Corinthians 3:3-9 especially in verse 6 "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." no Man's person or Denomination will gave us increased but God who made us Grow.

In Colossians 3:11 "Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond [nor] free: but Christ [is] all, and in all." It says there is No nor Should not be Divisions among the Body of Christ ...! "Christ Unites ... Denomination Divides" ...

Some said Baptist, and Some Pentecostal and Some Catholic ... ! Is Christ Divided ? was any Denomination Crucified for You ? if not, don't emphasis on Denomination But Christ Jesus the One Who Love and Crucified for you and i. And don't say i am this and i am that we all belong to Christ though we may be in different Denominations we are still One Body in Christ ...

Jesus Christ ... the Best in World History ...!!!

Are We Worthy Of God's Calling ?

The Bible speaks about walking worthily for God's calling, and even asked us to walk worthy of our calling.

"That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory." 1 Thessalonians 2:12

What is walking Worthy of the calling of God ?

It is that walking Daily with God and Obeying what His Word says ... The Devil sometime made us believe his lies and say "you can't walk worthy of God because you are imperfect" ... Though it seems to be True is not the Answer, yes we are Fallen mankind and imperfect in every ways we do. But the Truth and the Answer is, the Son of God made us Worthy Before God by Purchasing us with His Own Blood when He died on the Cross of Calvary 2000 years ago !
In Revelation 5:9,10 The people in Heaven Singing A New Song ...

“You are worthy to take the scroll

and to open its seals,

because you were slain,

and with your blood you purchased men for God

from every tribe and language and people and nation.

You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,

and they will reign on the earth.”

So There is no Doubt that we are Worthy of God''s Calling by Jesus' Blood. Because the Word of God said it !

Another Thing ...!

How we are walking of God's calling ? We have been made Worthy of God's calling by the Blood of the Lamb of God. Are you walking in it's Worthiness or do we still made ourselves unworthy by indulging in Sin and the World's ways, it is for us to consider... there is no doubt that Christ has made us Worthy but am I walking in His Calling or not ? A Time has come for us to consider our ways, for the Bible says "Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways." Haggai 1:5.

Consider your ways, what a wonderful Word for the Last days Believers, and What a beautiful passage Spoken by the LORD of hosts couple of thousand years ago. So we must Consider our ways ! no choice, if our ways are not Right make U turn to God, if Our ways are Crooked Make it Straight, if Our ways be Foolish be Wise now ! Because we are Walking Worthy of God's Calling not of any men. It's Him The God Almighty, The Alpha and Omega, The LORD of Hosts, The Creator, The Savior, The Lion of the Tribe of Judah !

So My Dear Brother and Sister in Christ Let us now Consider are we Worthy of God's Calling ? And Let us Walk Worthy of God's Calling if we are not walking in it ... "We must obey God rather than men! Acts 5:29 ...The Lord Bless You ... !!!
